01 Information-service disclaimer
PEX uses reasonable efforts to obtain and provide useful, accurate information. PEX, its publisher, employees, consultants and contributors do not represent or endorse the accuracy, completeness or reliability of every part of a product or related information, and do not accept responsibility for errors or omissions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PEX excludes liability for losses, claims, damages, demands, costs or expenses arising from use of, or reliance on, a PEX information service. Subscribers acknowledge that reliance on product content is at their own risk. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or investment advice.
02 Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you enquire, subscribe or pay an invoice. This may include your name, company, business contact details, selected publication, invoice reference, billing address and related correspondence.
Our server may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps and security logs. We use that information to operate, protect and diagnose the website rather than to identify visitors unnecessarily.
This website does not currently collect payment-card details. Do not send a card number or security code by email or through the enquiry form; PEX will provide payment instructions separately.
03 How we use information
We use personal information to answer enquiries, create and administer subscriptions, deliver publications, process and reconcile payments, send service communications, maintain records, prevent misuse and comply with legal obligations.
We may tell existing or prospective customers about relevant PEX products where permitted. You can ask us to stop marketing messages at any time. Service and billing messages may still be required while an account or subscription remains active.
04 Service providers
We disclose only the information reasonably required for trusted providers to perform services for PEX. These may include payment and billing providers, an authenticated email-delivery provider, website hosting, database backup, security and professional advisers.
Those providers may process information in Australia or other countries under their own legal and contractual safeguards. PEX does not sell personal information.
05 Retention and security
PEX keeps information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, account administration, dispute resolution, tax and accounting requirements, or another legal obligation.
We use access controls, encrypted transport, restricted credentials and reputable service providers to reduce risk. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
06 Access, correction and choices
You can ask about personal information PEX holds about you, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law requires it.
You can control cookies through your browser. The rebuilt PEX site does not require advertising cookies to send a subscription enquiry.
